Central League Cyclocross R10, 25 November 2018

On Sunday I raced at the Central Cyclocross League. It was a very bumpy course and also had many uphill drags. The weather was quite cold but bearable and the wind wasn’t too bad. The ground was also quite soft in places from rain during the week. This made some of the corners quite slippy and you had to be more cautious on the sharper turns as well as a small bank you would slide straight down if you didn’t get the right line. The start was also on an uphill drag, which wouldn’t normally favour me. Despite this I had a good start however didn’t maintain it for long. My racing was average, and my fitness still isn’t back and it’s showing more as weeks go on as others get fitter. I still finished with second, but most of the girls I normally race were at the national trophy series in York.
