Eastern League Cyclocross R10, 18 November 2018

I was feeling strong with everything seemingly going well. With the promise of cake after I was ready to put out the effort. At the whistle I clipped in and was ready to commit but the man in front- the only one who didn't sprint off- completely delayed my planned rapid assault. I fought round the outside of the pack as best as I could before it spread out. I caught a group of 4, attacked and caught another. I went past this group and before I could catch the next one it was over. I really enjoyed how sketchy the course was with the tight fast muddy corners and the long straights to put the power down. Due to the unluck at the start my placing can't have been very good but I've learned my lessons to practice on the technical parts.
