My first TT event for 2018 and something of a transition event, because having got my new bike mostly set up, I decided I wasn't comfortable enough with it to ride for nearly an hour, and so I competed on the Cannondale Slice, albeit with an updated position since last year. I managed to hold my power target to within a few watts, and completed the course without any significant issues (caught behind traffic for a few seconds a couple of times). I was pleased to find that I came 5th overall and was first in the 40-49 age group, which meant my first ever prize from cycling!
