Cambridge CC TT F2A/25, 13 Sep 2020

On Sunday I raced the Cambridge CC 25 mile TT on the F2A/25. I had never raced the course before so was looking forward to completing another new course. I knew that the course was quite flat, so it could be a potential day to get a new 25 mile TT.

On the day however I found that the wind was quite challenging in places which made it hard to keep my bike upright and keep the power up at the same time. On the way out we had a cross/head wind and on the way back a tail/cross wind. I think I paced it quite well considering that I haven't done many 25 mile TTs before and it has given me a power target to beat next time.

Overall I was happy with my time and position in a quite a big field of women. If the TT taught me anything, it would definitely be to arrive on the start line a little bit earlier! It was also nice to see and say hello to some other Catenary-coached athletes as well as Tim, who overtook me just before the finish line!
