Stowe Scramble Eastern League CX, 19 Sep 2020

I raced the trial cross event at Haughley Park. I was gridded 3rd row and had a very quick start, getting up with the seniors. Being my first race since March I was a little too eager and burned way too many matches on that first lap. The second lap I rode easier to recover a little and then after that could keep a high paced rhythm. The dry dusty conditions were incredibly grippy and in the open section I barely needed to brake. I got 5th junior and 15th overall which is a nice improvement over last year.
