Team LDN Hoghill Crit, 1 May 2021

On Saturday I raced the LDN crits at Hoghill (again). The race was 30 minutes long with all 30 riders on the start line. I positioned myself third row from the front so I was close to the front of the bunch. I managed to get a good start and was at the front for the first lap. When we went up the first climb the group split in half. Luckily I positioned myself at the front so I managed to get into the front group of 7 of us with 4 riders from the same team off the front. With 3 laps to go I didn’t have the legs to stay with the group I was with and I dropped roughly 20 seconds behind them when I crossed the finish line. I finished 1st junior and 12th overall😄
