Tour of Cambridgeshire TT, 11 Jun 2022

On 11th June I took part in the TOC TT finally after having to wait since 2019 to compete here again. I made sure to ride the TT course the day before and familiarise myself again with all the uphill sections and corners. After this I was looking forward to the event. I did a great warm up planning my timing to perfection with only a few minutes to go till I was off.

I found the TT hard work, especially the first 3 miles into the headwind, however enjoyed the long tailwind section to bring it home. I managed to get a time of 45:59, a PB for me by 1min 5sec. This put me into 8th for my age group and 30th female. I really enjoyed the event overall and look forward to competing here again next year.
