Norwich ABC TT B10/43, 7 July 2018

What a day on the Norwich ABC 10 mile TT... I started the day trying to remember everything Tim has taught me from the warm up, my position, and to how to ride a TT. After tweaking my TT position earlier in the week I was keen to get started. Conditions were quite tough with 27C dry heat and a head wind for the first 5 1/2 miles before turning for home. When coming off the roundabout for home there wasn't much of a tail wind as I had hoped, but in places a strong cross wind. I could see a rider in front of me which spurred me on to overtake. I knew that I had to give everything I had left to the finish line. I took just over 2 min off my last time there, to get a new PB of 26:00. I couldn't be happier with my result which gave me 4th out of 11 ladies, I'm so pleased with myself! I'm now back in training to get ready for my next TT on Saturday.
