Bedfordshire Road Cycling Club Open 25 TT F1B/25, 2 Aug 2020

For Sunday’s TT I had a very early start time of 6:30. I wasn’t sure what to expect doing a 25mile TT, as it had been over a year since I’d raced that kind of distance. This was another new course for me as well. I felt I didn’t pace it very well, being a bit too conservative on the way out then not being able to make the time back on the return. As it seems to be the case as the moment with the TTs it felt like I was battling the wind the entire time. However I enjoyed the well-organised event and hope to give my 25mile PB another shot later in the year.
