Central League CX Rd 1, 17 Sep 2023

My first race of the CX season was the CCXL at MK Bowl on 17th September. I was looking forward to this as I finally have a CX bike of my own to race on this year. This course usually suits me however this year it was very hilly and a hard course to start with. I had a bad start as someone dropped a chain in front of me in the first corner, however throughout the race I managed to claw people back each lap and even have a sprint finish at the end. I finished 7th Senior Woman which I was quite pleased with for my first time out and first year focusing on CX.
