BUCS Team Time Trial, 8 Mar 2026

After 3 weeks with very little training with conferences, travel, track, and a ski trip, I wasn’t sure how my legs would feel for the Team Time Trial, though Ely had given me some confidence. We got a bronze medal last year with a time slower than I’d done at Ely, so I was hoping that I’d not lost that form in my few weeks away. And, luckily, I hadn’t! We held it together well this year, working to our strengths and changing plans on the fly when necessary. We came over the line in 1.00.17, which was enough to take the silver medal - so an upgrade from last year.
