CiCLE Classic Road Race, 22 Mar 2026

On Sunday 22 March I raced the CiCLE Classic in Melton Mowbray. With very little road race experience, I picked a tough one for my first Nat A but I was excited by the thought of all the off-road and gravely sectors that this race is famous for.

It being one of my first road races, the aim was to try and work for my teammate and get her as close to the front as possible, and then hang on as long as I could. Unfortunately I did get pulled out of the race around halfway through but I’m really glad I gave it a go and will definitely be back to try and get round the full thing next year!
