BUCS 10 mile TT, 26 Apr 2026

On Sunday I headed over to Cropwell Bishop, just outside Nottingham for the BUCS 10 mile Time-Trial. It’s a course I use lots for training and the event was being run by the uni so I was really excited for a good day out. It’s definitely not one of the usual disciplines for me so wasn’t expecting any result, just a good hit out! I felt pretty strong and came away with 8th in the road bike category which I was really happy with considering little prep for this sort of effort. I had been working on a few things with my bike position too since the BUCS team time trial which went well so that’s really positive too! I then spent the afternoon marshalling so was able to watch some very speedy people come through in the TT bike category which was good fun as well.
