ECCA 25 Mile Championship TT E2/25, 27 May 2018

I was hopeful for some good form and a good time for this event, as the morning was bright and sunny with light winds. Unfortunately the wind picked up and resulted in quite a significant headwind on the way back, which meant my time target (sub-51) slipped away and I ended up slower than my previous time on this course! I was rather disheartened but when I got back to HQ many of the other times were slower as well, with only one time under 50 minutes. I managed 10th place (5th vet) with a time of 52:35 so was quite pleased in the end. Form is inconsistent at the moment, so I am hoping this will improve.
