NCTC Club TTs, 5 & 12 May 2021

Redlodge Club TT 05.05.21
Last week I raced at Redlodge Club TT and the weather was from windy, to hail storms then rain then dropped to 2 degrees in temperature. I can't tell you how cold I actually felt at the end of the race, it was painful. The TT it'self went well and I finished 2nd out of the ladies.

Well I actually can't believe what happened tonight! I warmed up as normal, set both Garmins up (I had some issues in the week with my pedal power meter that we are still investigating). My start was much better as I clipped in 1st time at the start and raced down the hill. It was almost perfect conditions tonight. I kept plugging away.. Shouting at myself keep the HR up, keep the power up... Pedal quicker. I put my final effort in up the hill, the time felt quicker but I didn't want to put my hopes up just yet. I only went and got a PB on the course and even though I was second I was only 22 sec behind the 1st lady who was previously beating me by 2min. I'm absolutely over the moon!
